He visits him every full moon. Cue cheesy secret love affair because I’m all about that. suihiuhiudssdksjw

I believe in rights that’s all I can say

Let’s go back to the times when women went “hysterical” because no one cared what the fuck a female orgasm was (and had to be given theirs by the doctors as treatment!)

*** Disclaimer***  I’m an idiot, and these are just my rambling thoughts as I limp through life and try to figure things out.  I am in no way criticizing the beliefs of others, or the previous posters.  This is simply the opinion of an idiot dork….

I think when people are saying “they don’t need feminism” they are talking about those on the extreme end who have unfortunately started to hurt the cause.  As with any movement, it has done great good, but there are a few who push it to the extreme and are claiming many things in the name of “feminism”.

The extremes in the movement have started to make feminism look shallow.  I think this is why you see many women becoming disenfranchised.

So, I disagree with the statement, “continue to sit and whine that you don’t need feminism because you’re “not a man hater” but you’re just hurting your own cause.”  I think this person should realize that continuing to embrace those who are extremes is the problem, not those driven away by those extremists.

I think this is why we’ve see such a drop in people identifying themselves as “feminists”.  However, when asked if men and women should have “equal rights”, the majority agrees they should.

If the packaging becomes tainted, the product won’t sell.

From the article:

“It is negative associations people carry regarding feminism that causes Americans to shy away from the label. People are twice as likely to consider calling someone a feminist to be an insult (23 percent) rather than a compliment (12 percent),” the poll says.

What with man-bashing and the erosion of the traditional masculine and feminine roles or family structure, Americans also apparently associate feminism with things other than, say, equal rights - and it is problematic.

“When given a neutral dictionary definition of feminism, as ‘someone who believes in the social, political and economic equality of the sexes,’ 57 percent of Americans proudly proclaim themselves feminists,” the poll concludes.
